After seling all of the family's remaining business in New York, the Corleones permanently move to Las Vegas.

The Godfather is a pretty fair novel, all in all. So if you enjoy a good story, it's worth a pass. But if you're a real fan of the crime then it is definitely worth reading.

2. The Spy Who Came in from the Cold

The Spy Who Came in from the Cold is a 1963 Cold war spy novel by the British author John le Carre.

It depicts Alec Leamas, a British agent, being sent to East Germany as a faux defector to sow disinformation about a powerful East German intelligence officer.

It occurs during the heightened tensions that characterised the late 1950s and early 1960s Cold War, when a Warsaw Pact-NATO war sparked in Germany seemes likely. The story begins and consludes in Berlin, about a year after the completion of the Berlin wall and around the time when double-agent Heniz Felfe was exposed and tried.

The Spy is set in the early 1960s before the assassination of John F Kennedy, before the real advent of hippies, the Vietnam war, the "Swinging sixties" and all the familiar counter-cultural baggage that goes with it its tone, if anything is dourly 1950s, its colours grey, its weather depressing.

    Worth the read ;-)

4. Gone Girl

Gone Girl is a 2012 crime thriller novel by American writer Gillian Flynn. This novel became popular and made the New York Times Best Seller list.

The sense of suspense in the novel comes from whether or not Nick Dunne is involved in the disapperance of his wife Amy.

Marriage can be a real killer.😂

On a warm summer morning in North Carthage, Missouri, it is Nick and Amy Dunne's fifth wedding anniversary. Presents are being wrapped and reservations are being made when Nick's clever and beautiful wife disappers fom their rented McMansion on the Mississippi River. Husband-of-the-year Nick is not doing himself any favours with cringe- worthy day dreams about the slope and shape of his  wife's head, but passages from Amy's diary reveal the alpha-girl perfectional could have put anyone dangerously on edge. Under mounting pressure from the police and the media - as well as Amy's fiercly doting parents - the town golden boy parades an endless series of lies, deceits, and inappropriate behaviour. Nick is oddly evasive, and he's definitely bitter -but is he really a killer?

I don't want to tell the complete story here. Go have a suspense and thriller experience by living in it. Great read : )
